Description
Purpose of Biopren 50 LML
It is used for treating small water bodies that are not connected to natural aquatic environments or wastewater treatment plants, such as:
- Unused swimming pools
- Stagnant water bodies
- Ponds, reservoirs, and other water basins
- Rainwater tanks
These sites must not be used for storing drinking water, irrigation, bathing, or for keeping ornamental fish.
How does it work?
- Insect growth regulator: S-methoprene acts as a juvenile hormone analog, inhibiting chitin synthesis during larval molting, preventing the emergence of adult mosquitoes.
- Delayed action: Effectively controls mosquito populations by stopping larvae from developing into adults.
